Now that was awesome. big grin Thanks !

Shame that the official soundtrack is mostly songs and remixes, but who knows how much score is actually in the movie. But that video /theme DOES rock

I really enjoyed that video. The theme is catchy too. I think Tyler has carved out a nice sound for himself marrying groove composing with rock orchestration. It's not the first time someone has done this but he excels at it. I love his Fast Five theme too.

Bt-dubs, side note...Jeff Toyne orchestrated on Now You See Me. Toyne is a terrific composer himself and orchestrates on a lot of Tyler scores, definitely an important part of Tyler's team in coming up with these wonderful scores!

Seems like Tyler has issued a contest for composers to come up with an even cooler video! wink

If so, he has been summarily defeated already:

Sadly this score is not available for download/purchase outside the U.S. Not available on iTunes in Canada...pity because I'm so wanting to pour over this score. The sound clips sound fan-freakin-fantastic.

Really surprised there isn't more discussion about this score. Terrific theme, nice orchestration and some clever musical moments. I've been playing it non stop since I bought it. Beats the hell out of MOS.

Saw the film Friday night. Won't say it was a total waste of time, as I became aware of Brian Tyler's fantastic score for this overglossed, overkinetic mess of a nonsensical movie. The posts earlier in the thread nailed it. You don't have to be a failed screenwriter to call this lipstick-wearing pig what it is. I really enjoyed some of the camera moves... until they became just plain gratuitous.

Anyway, the score. It's such FUN heist music. I just now downloaded it (really wish there was a pressed disc) and am listening to it for the first time, but I'm sure this is gonna get a lot of play.

Just saw this the movie & it was a lot fun, Brians score is great as usual!!! The video a few posts above of him playing drums just made him more cooler than he already is. I'm a drummer for a long time now & I have to say that this man has his shit together on the drums!!!!!

Yes I particularly enjoy his ride cymbal work alternating between the bell and other parts of the cymbal

has anyone seen the film? Because on the album there isn't that much score. Is there more unreleased material?
