Are you saying this and "The Chairman" are being paired on one release, or two separate releases?

No Chairman on this one. BUT there are some pretty cool bonus tracks included ;-)

I hope they are getting the synth sounds right.

Well, you can hear some of the synths in the End Credits part of the video.

Kudos to Mr. Fitzpatrick! Can't wait to spin this baby.

It goes without saying though that I will be scrubbing the athletic supporter 'incident' from my brain permanently.

I don't know what's more amazing: that there's still Goldsmith music out there to discover or that it's THIS good.

How thrilling that Tadlow appears to know Exactly what we want: "New" Jerry Goldsmith music on a tangible CD album!

sounds fantastic.

I wonder why they wear headphones in those recordings sessions, are they playing to clicks which are prepared in the exact tempi from the original recordings?

Maybe because it's what they want, too!

Very, very nice. Too bad the original tapes are lost, especially for such a young film. frown

This is absolutely stunning. What a glorious way to keep Goldsmith's music alive.

Congratulations, and thank you, James, Luc and Nic.

A reference to Sheriff Bart being a member of the film's absolutely fascinating cast?

...and of course I eagerly await the premiere of the music for Franco Nero's infamous slo-mo jock strap fight scene... smile

Jeff, that was an image I did need to be reminded of....

BURN IN HELL for that

Some may think I'm biased, but Jerry Goldsmith is the foremost composer of film music. I will not even limit Goldsmith to film music, his enormous brilliant output places him in front of any other composer(my opinion) in or out of film.
