David - yes, I knew I was missing one - has to be the album track as opposed to the film track though; Goldsmith did a great adaptation for the vinyl!
Yes it was a composite of two cues from the film but they work really well together. First Blood, in my opinion, is one of the finest action scores ever done. I actually prefer it to Williams' Raiders to be quite honest as it has a lot of variety in it. You have a somber, beautiful theme. You have some eerie and violent dissonant sections when Rambo ambushes the posse. And the action writing is just amazing. I never enjoyed subsequent Rambo scores mostly because I found the orchestra not as "big" sounding and his synths a little too obvious. the synths he used in First Blood were nicely balanced with the orchestra and sparingly used.
