Over at the Intrada site, it was stated that The White Dawn CD by Mancini will be in mono sound.
Hope this doesn't turn anyone off. I was a tad disappointed because this score would have been great in stereo. But I guess it's good that this score is going to be released at all.
Just hope it's crisp dynamic mono.
This might come as a surprise, but Mancini recorded a 11 minute suite from the score with the London Symphony Orchestra back in the 1970's for this album:
Themes From The Godfather, Romeo & Juliet, Jaws, Earthquake, Love Story, Summer of '42
I've available for download from both AMAZON and ITUNES.
The whole album is wonderful, well worth getting in my opinion.

Any Mancini is worth getting, and The White Dawn is superb. No one should hesitate.
And the album Mr. Thaxton references is as terrific as he says - for me, Mr. Mancini could do no wrong.

It's not too expensive.
This is indeed a wonderful album and for those of you who reject any mono recording out of hand (misguided as you are), this is great way to get a beautiful stereo representation of the major elements of the score.
The rest of us can geek out over having the whole score in what I'm sure will sound just great in glorious mono! I for one plan to enjoy both versions equally!
