Dying to know what the horror release for Oct. 22 will be. Any clues? Actually, excited for all releases coming from La La Land these days.

Couldn't agree more. LLL never disappoints.

Never?

I am sure there have been a few occasions. wink

MV/LLL, would you issue a golden age cd before the end of the year? Maybe Tiomkin? smile

For our FINAL FOUR we are trying to appeal to a cross section of fans so everyone will hopefully have something under the Festivus Pole this holiday season. smile

MV, thanks for the encouraging words! smile

By the way, after a 44 year wait, I'm greatly enjoying your new True Grit cd! smile

MV, I want to thank you again for I, THE JURY. And, I look forward to everything you guys release! Also, would a ROCKY set be possible someday, or is it out of the question?

Anything is possible...well, almost anything

Anymore animated Warner stuff coming this year by the great Shirley Walker and team?

Long overdue for some Goldenthal; Interview With A Vampire.

Expanded Batman Forever came out last year so I wouldn't say we're long overdue. But you'll never see me say no to more Goldenthal.

Knowing how film score fans are, I predict one of the first replies will be somebody saying:

"I'm happy for everybody here who wants these, but none of them appeal to me. Maybe next year."

Or words to that affect. ;-)

Me too.
But I don't think it's considered a modern score. (modern meaning recent)

As for Elfman, my wishes would be:
complete SOMMERSBY
or complete DICK TRACY

Sommersby is one I've been debating whether or not to buy used. It's not too expensive, but you never know these days.

Meanwhile, I can't wait to order Black Beauty in an hour, a score I thankfully never found a cheap used copy of!

Is there a lot of music missing from the original SOMMERSBY release?

Golden age fans will have to wait for 2014. That's their message and we have to live with it.

MV said modern greats in terms of composer, not film. Elliot Goldenthal one could say would be a modern great.
