I too hope the "Pure Awesomeness" will be the long-awaited LLL release of Goldsmith's THE SWARM.

Secondly, I’m not entirely sure there’s enough music in Iron Giant to warrant two discs (even if you include the various bits of source music, which I’m sure could cause a few licensing headaches). A multi-disc set, along with the other info, suggests 3 discs or more from the same composer/project (no rejected score on Disc 3). What from '98 or '99 would have that much material and warrant such a release?

As a matter of fact Jeff is writing notes for a few of our Black Friday titles. I'm almost certainly in the minority here, but that actually has me more excited than the prospect of James Bond expansions (which I'm still happy about, don't get me wrong). There are certain film music writers like Jeff Bond and John Takis whose work and insight just help me to get so much more out of music I already love. If it wasn't for the inspiration of their work (and others'), I never would have started my "Advance Liner Notes" series or have been able to do what I do on The Goldsmith Odyssey in terms of musical analysis. It was therefore really amazing to have John join us on our second Twilight Zone podcast, with any luck Jeff will be able to join us on a future one. In the meantime, it's awesome that their writing is continuing to be supported by LLL. Yavar

I will be all over JFK especially if there’s substantial new music to premiere. Yavar

Wouldn't it be great if we could eventually have both JFK and Born on the 4th of July??? No, it must be one or the other. Choose.
