Should be DEEP IMPACT, right? Very lovely thread. I like that some contextualisation is given now for the examples. The Godzilla piece is indeed haunting. Also like the many Italian examples given. They have a unique tradition to juxtapose very romantic music with gruesome images. Powerful stuff!
