Glad this thread was bumped. I thought it was interesting when I visited the last remaining used CD store in my area that has scores in their soundtrack section, that they now have a boat load of Varese titles. Unfortunately, they are the titles that can be found at your local Family Dollar store sealed. There were 38 titles, all of them open, most of them where scratched and the store had them priced at 8.99? Sounds like someone got their money back in trade, since they are $3-$4 depending on which FD they are purchased. There were two that I wanted, but they were just too scratched to even think about buying. Why can people not take care of their disc and why would a used record store charge that much for a scratched CD, one will never know. I just pictured the owner of these disc having them out of their jewel cases, sliding around on the back seat of their car, they were that bad! The more I think about this, I bet the person traded in their old scratched up copies and went to FD and bought new copies. I would have done it if my CDs were that bad.

I'm always finding bargain CD's in various shops and markets I stumble upon. Just last week I picked up ARTHUR CHRISTMAS (HGW), OLIVER TWIST (RACHEL PORTMAN) and THE KING'S SPEECH (DESPLAT) for £2 each in the used section of my local HMV. Haven't played any of them yet, so maybe they ain't that much of a bargain
