they said in January. The home page says "shipping soon." You could email them and maybe they'll give a more specific date.

They were waiting for autographed booklets to arrive last I heard. Can't wait for this!

Anyone else get a shipping notice for this?
I haven't received anything since the autographs notification email.

Was it from "Pitney Bowes" or something like that? I think I got one of these today. Didn't say what it was for though. I hope it is!

got mine too. Divorced from the film, sort of reminds me of Gil Melle's electronic scores.

Just got it.Was happy to get the autograph. Gorgeous packaging, good sound quality too. Zombie chase sounds incredible.
Seems like they scattered the tracks around to make a better album experience. Also seems to be a lot of outtakes on here too, like "Death Corps" which incorporates some eerie sfx that aren't in the film but work great in the cue.
I'll try to put together a chronological tracklist.
I recommend Carpenter fans to check this out. If you like those synth stingers, you'll love this.
Can't believe I finally have this on CD! Another grail scratched off the list!

I don't recall reading anything about there being autographed copies, so it was a pleasant surprise. I've seen the movie and feel that this is one of those scores that's more memorable than the movie.
As fo the CD, i agree, the packaging is great! It's a pity that Howling Wolf don't release more scores because both The Dead and Shock Waves have proved to me that they don't skimp on quality of presentation.
Also, yes, Carpenter fans and fans of atmopsheric electronic music in general will enjoy this soundtrack.
