Continuing the discussion of Horner, a complete Pelican Brief release would be nice, especially if it contains the cue heard when Khamel attempts to murder Darby Shaw in public

Seeing as though La La Land released some other Big Screen Records titles, it is my hope that they do The Pelican Brief for this cue alone. It's probably not an amazing listen on its own, but it's so well used in the film itself. So, I'll go with this suggestion!

As will I, and hope that it is sandwiched between other atmospheric cues just to get
Shaun's goat smile
And for dissing Red Heat, 'cos I'd buy that damn score again too. So there.

How much music is missing from the WAR OF THE WORLDS CD by JW?

About 11 minutes worth, not counting alternates and outtakes, I believe.

I forgot I would also love to see the release of Disney's Swiss Family Robinson.

As for War of the Worlds. The complete score is right around 92 minutes long, so the official release is missing about 30 minutes worth of material.

WHEELS (Universal-TV 1978 by Morton Stevens)

The original HAWAII FIVE-0 TV scores (Stevens, Broughton, Ray & Shores)

If these were to come out, I would NOT ask for another thing!...:-)

Haha, awesome. I had that thought while I was thinking of the cues that came before and after it in the movie.

Back in May, 2011, MV posted it was "almost gone". Perhaps more copies were quietly pressed. I can't imagine somethign nearly gone woudl still be here over two years later.

Nothing was "quietly pressed." We do not do that. That would be immoral and illegal in accordance to our contract. Thanks for the insult.

And yes -- we sadly still have copies. I just did inventory.

I said "perhaps"; I speculated. After all, after Lukas admitted to printing more run, we can't ever really be sure until somebody says so. Unless you think we're psychic.

No, I think you are an asshole for making such an insinuation. We are not Lukas Kendall.

I thought this thread was about scores you want to see released in 2014, as opposed to scores you want to see settled in 2014 wink

Anywayyyyyyy (awkward pauze)

Here's my list of titles I'd really like to see expanded/released/remastered...:

Air Force One (Jerry)
Alien 3 (Elliot Goldenthal)
Cat's Eye (Alan Silvestri)
Cujo (Charles Bernstein)
Dawn of the Dead (Donald Rubinstein rejected)
Dreamcatcher (James Newton Howard)
Event Horizon (Michael Kamen)
G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra (Alan Silvestri)
Highlander (Michael Kamen)
Hollow Man (Jerry)
Judge Dredd (Alan Silvestri)
Killing Season (Christopher Young)
Outbreak (James Newton Howard)
Predator 2 (Alan Silvestri)
Psycho II (Jerry)
Reincarnation of Peter Proud (Jerry)
Robin Hood (Michael Kamen)
The Dark Half (Christopher Young)
The Keep (Tangerine Dream)
The Power (Christopher Young)
The Shining (Wendy Carlos & co)
Walking Dead (Bear McCreary)
Warlock (Jerry)
X-Files vol 3 (Mark Snow)
X-Men (Michael Kamen)

There are Jerry's like The River Wild, The Last Castle, Looney Tunes Back in Action I'd like see expanded to get the McKenzie and Debney cues. Also TV scores; More McCarthy TNG (and even his Macguyver scores).

MV, please don't insert animosity where none existed. If somebody's speculation is incorrect, please correct.

And despite what Lukas said, he never did specify what the situation was with the studios and AFM, so let's no poo poo on him either. Unless I missed such comments.
