I think it has to do with how much it would cost to license and remaster the tapes for CD release. Most probably there's too much risk of not being able to make a profit on it.
Very likely but the more they want out of it, the more they have to negotiate. The longer the negotiations the less lucrative it becomes. So, as many times, they want all, they get nothing.

Where do I sign this petition? Haha Wonder Woman and the Six Million Dollar Man are the top 2 soundtracks on my wishlist. Hopefully the former will be crossed off the wishlist soon. It would be great if the latter can be, as well.
