Intrada has posted the list of titles they are offering at 20% off to qualifying donors:

Check it out, and thank you Intrada!

The most crucial time for Indiegogo are the first two days and the final week. Updates are great, but people sharing is the best. The thing about PayPal is disturbing and must be very recent.

I did some digging after posting yesterday - if for no other reason than to tell Rutherford he can STUFF IT - and they stopped accepting PayPal as of August 2, 2017. The reason given by Indiegogo was some nebulous explanation about the move enabling them to offer contributors a "more streamlined, consistent process with one payment processor." PayPal had apparently removed certain buyer protections for crowdfunding payments, so perhaps that had something to do with it. But some data has been posted to suggest that offering credit cards and PayPal together can boost campaign contributions substantially (the figure I saw was 28%). So my post yesterday was less about whining on my own behalf, SHAUN, than making the point that it sucks for campaigns if PayPal isn't an option because clearly it would help.

Oh my God, you did the research! You're a married man! With kids!

Yes why do you think I wouldn't use ANY excuse not to actually spend quality time with those people

I've done my part and started a thread about it at a big Star Trek message board. Eleven hits so far.

I noticed that Mr. Jones will be recording the score in my neck of the woods. Is there going to be an opportunity for people to attend the recording sessions? Even if that was a perk, that’s something I would be interested in. I have already donated but I would not mind donating more for such a purpose.

That is an excellent idea and I will ask Ron! He is about an hour north of Seattle and his recording facility is on the same property with his residence.

Fascinating. I did a campaign right around that time and PayPal was definitely still an option.

The pricing on some of the perks is very confusing. For example, the Sky Fighter Soundtrack CD is listed as:

"$25 USD + Shipping $35 (28% Off)", with the $35 struck out.

That makes it seem like you are getting a $35 item that includes shipping for $25. But shipping is not included in the $25/$35 dollars. It would be more clear if it read like this:

$35 (strike-out) $25 (28% Off) + Shipping.

Even that seems kind of confusing. Might I suggest:

Originally a $35 value (including shipping), now only $25 (28% off).

(even then, I am confused -- does the contributor still have to pay shipping?)

And this line:
"Dan and Levi recently completed a "Huluween" series of short films for Hulu and they came out amazing!"

You'll have to double check the grammar since I don't know off hand, but I think "amazingly" might be the appropriate tense.

I agree, unfortunately that's an Indiegogo thing that's built into the format. I will see if I can fix but I may not be able to.

Thanks for the feedback!

I just want to say that probably the best part of this endeavor so far as been seeing names that I recognize going back 25 years from the earliest FSM subscription lists. I used to manage those lists personally and I would log when the $22 subscription checks would come in. Sometimes people would call to order a CD, and I'd say, "Right, you're on 22 Harbor Lane" or whatever, and people'd be like, WHAAA!??

I always worked hard to give a good magazine, and later good CDs, to the people who loyally supported me. So it is a very good feeling to see many of those same names now, so many years later, donating their money to my film project. And I will do my best to live up to their trust!

Thanks all!!!

Following along and will just say that 24% in less than two complete days is very strong. What will happen now, especially if it goes up another one or two percent by tomorrow is that it will trend on their site and show up in searches in a high position.

Yep, you are still confused. The old price of $35 did not include shipping and the new price of $25 does not include shipping. Shipping (undisclosed until you check out) is another $5.
