Thanks for having my back, Kasey. I did however invite opposing opinions in how I phrased the thread's topic. Thought there might be more love for SM:H (and some have voiced their love), but fair points to those preferring MoH, John Carter, MG's Apes scores, or whatnot. Rest assured, my enthusiasm for Spider-Man: Homecoming has not diminished.
Altough I have a lot of favorite scores by Giacchino: Medal of Honor, Up, Lost series, Let Me In (no love for this one?), Ghost Protocol, Rogue One, War for the Planet of the Apes...

And I have a lot of fun with Cars 2.
It seems like you are one score away from saying that every score is your favorite.

Nop, there are plenty scores or i don't like or hated or just i was entertained.
For example, Jurassic World is one of the most weakest scores by Giacchino, listened only four times when was released and not listen again since.
I like Dawn of Planet of the Apes, but didn't fall in love with it.
Not sure which one I sampled. I'll give it another try. Start here: Yavar
Thanks Yavar, I played the first video and had time to play about 20 minutes of the second video. It's okay but I wouldn't call it anything outstanding. Journeymen comes to mind.

It’s a very good score, but not one I feel an urge to listen to often. Just the nature of the score I guess. I haven’t listened to War apart from the film yet.
Lost is Giacchino's finest hour. He scored every hour of 6 seasons with around three dozen themes for all the various characters and places. Among the ten CDs of Lost from Varese, the last one covering the final episode really touches on so many of the themes over all the episodes. It's sweeping, emotional, and the number one reason the show felt so cinematic.
Agreed 1000%! I was really hoping Young would score Dr. Strange. His style would have been perfect for it, and I would love to see him be a part of the MCU

Yeah, is a good score for me, but War was more engaging for me (and i have more listens to that score than Dawn)

Then I guess I wish there were still composers writing "journeymen" music like this today, is all I'll say!
(including Giacchino in that too, btw...)
Oh, the best part of Frontline is nearer the end. I would've linked you to specific tracks but as they run together that's not ideal.
I heard such awful things about the turn Lost took some seasons in that I never checked out the show or anything about it. Also never looked into the MoH scores as I’m not a gamer. I may need to change this at some point. At the risk of derailing this thread and incurring the wrath of the OP, if I do look into Lost, at which point should I check myself back out again?
