I wonder if James would consider this score. Most folks like Rozsa MGM historical swcores ( Diane, Moonfleet, Young Bess, etc) hoever years before his mgm period he did a similar historical score - that Hamilton Woman. Hardly anything has been recorded from this score. After THE JUNGLE BOOK, this is the Rozsa score I’d most want re-recorded. Reportedly, on first release in England, it was longer, though I don’t know by how much, and had a different title, LADY HAMILTON. Does anyone hereabouts know if it was a roadshow? Overture? Intermission? Entr’acte? Exit music? It’s a lovely score with some effective music for the Battle of Trafalgar. Not to mention a gorgeous Love Theme. (Does anyone remember Love Themes? I have several lp’s made up of nothing but.)

I agree with you on wanting those two Rozsa scores re-recorded. Joel McNeely's recording of the love theme on a Varese compilation is wonderful! My top 5 Rozsa wants for new recordings would be filled out by Knight Without Armour (his first score...both GOOD and historically important for the reason), The Four Feathers, and A Double Life (his second Oscar winner; even less released from it than That Hamilton Woman, if I'm not mistaken). I'd also like recordings of some of his lost noir scores (whatever can't be salvaged and released from Universal's vaults...the only untapped studio remaining for Rozsa material as far as I know), but those five are probably my highest priority. Of course in a perfect world all of Rozsa's works would have new recordings out there (especially the "lost" ones). Yavar
