Prompted by discovery of Geoff Zanelli's Into the West, I published an article recently on some of my favorite hunting cues here:

Travolta hunting Robert De Niro in Killing Season is a pretty awesome cue.
One of the stand out cues of this year. Hopefully the score will get finally released soon.

John Rambo hunting (and maiming) Teasle and his deputies in Mountain Hunt from First Blood. A different kind of hunting cue. Slow and suspenseful.

How about the "Arctic Whale Hunt" from "The White Dawn" composed by Henry Mancini?

"The Zoo Chase" from "Arabesque" by Mancini.

Luis De Pablo wrote music for Carlos Saura's LA CAZA (THE HUNT) with similar instrumentation to Jerry Goldsmith's SEVEN DAYS IN MAY:

It's interesting to see this thread resurrected after so many years. I finished my compilation back then (and felt it quite effective), but there are enough new suggestions to make a prospective follow-up.
