I've downloaded the compilation from ITunes but I'm having a problem with tracks 2 and 3 - they are stoping in middle and then the ITunes moves to the next track before finishing them. Are any of you who downloaded it having the same problem?

I just gave them a try, and both played fine all the way through.

Thanks. I've deleted these tracks from my libary and downloaded them again and now they worked fine.

These few tracks available will make the wait for the complete set less painful!

Wow. Much as I've sworn off boxsets, this might be an exception.

These are the original tracks, right? I ask because there was talk of Mr Manfredini re-recording them, as the tapes had deteriorated to a point beyond usable.

And they do sound great from the few tracks available at the ITunes compilation!! Can't wait for these CDs!

I do love box sets with all film sequels because they seem to increase the chances that some more obscure, less in demand, scores are released. In this case, for example, what would be the chances for an individual release of the scores to part 5 or 6 out of this box? Or for the score to Karate Kid 4? Or Superman 3? Usually they also cost less to us than it would purchasing each of the scores separately.

"Box set which list": Jaws, Psycho, Airport, Die Hard, Rocky...

I hope I'm one of the lucky 1300.
With an event screening and a Dark Delicasies signing there may be more than a few disappointed Jason fans worldwide.

Interesting point. With a signing in place, are we going to get a typical Tuesday-styled announcement over at La-La Land's website before most are gone? I really don't want to miss out on this.

That 1300 quantity has me just as terrified as Jason ever did. I hope I can get my order placed in time! This is exciting news indeed!

Listening to The Ultimate Compilation right now. Just on track four, "We Meet At Chez Jason," and am loving it! So great to finally hear some of this music all by itself.

Aaaaargh, this is AWESOME! One of the greatest news of the Last Decade big grin

I'm selling a huge part of my soundtrack collection, but the genre I'm keeping for sure is "Horror": always been and always will be a freaking nut when it comes to horror scores.

I've been wanting these releases for so long! La-La Land kicks so much ass!

MV, any chance of doing more pressings once the 1300 sells out?

I can't remember right this moment, but it was done recently with some score I think from Intrada? Explorers maybe? Just want to know if this is even a consideration, or if the 1300 is locked in as the definitive amount.

I think a lot of people are worried they won't get their copy in time, as it seems like people will be clamoring for this set and it could sell out in half a day (especially likely given this much advance notice, which I am grateful for).

Are pre-orders a possibility?

I admit it, I'm worried. I know, I know...it's 2.5 months away...but I think I would actually keel over dead on the floor if I missed this set. Having said that, I will be there right when "the doors open" on 1/13/12.

Anyone that's purchased the Ultimate Compilation and uses iTunes...how do you get rid of the little "Clean" boxes that show up in the iTunes library?
