I'm totally happy that I was wrong with assuming "Die Hard with A Vengeance" would be "too good to be true" and it's also nice to hear that it was a holy grail for you guys at LLL, too.
I sure can hardly wait for this! smile

Just wondering, will that more or less odd "additional" content like the songs and the unrelated classical music part of this set too or is it really just Kamen all around?

I'm curious as well on the differences between Varese's expanded edition of Home Alone 2 vs. LLL's.

Same here. I'm wondering if perhaps the source movie music (for the faux western) is completely there (IIRC Varese's release only had some of it), or perhaps even the version from the first film which isn't on the HA1 release (that is if any exists in the first place....).

Of course it may just be alternates and stuff. Hopefully no stupid studio chatter bonus track....

Well is does say 'newly remastered and slightly expanded reissue', so I wouldn't expect too much 'new' stuff. smile

I'm finally 4 for 4!!

On December 4th, The Untouchables, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and Home Alone 2 will be mine!

Star Trek can wait till January. I'm turning 30 and this set should help make that idea a little more palatable. smile

Happy Holidays, La-La Land! You've definitely done some good!

Just a couple other thoughts...

-The first Black Friday in four years with no Jerry (Innerspace in '09, Star Trek V in '10, and Tora! Tora! Tora! in '11)

-All three Die Hards remastered and expanded within one year... not bad, guys!!

-Jim Titus' work is awesome - I know he has a website but I'd love to see all of his album artwork collected in one place

Ennio Morricone’s masterpiece THE UNTOUCHABLES. What makes this release extra special is now the fans of the score can hear both versions of the Maestro’s powerful score on cd – the film mix as well as the original album mix – both have never sounded better!

Both mix and edits from the album and the soundtrack sound so different from each other that I have thought for many years the album was actually a rerecording. Unexpected and fantastic news ! 'The Untouchables' is simply a height in his career and thanks to this release justice has been done...without throwing anybody from a roof !

Most def gonna order Die Hard with a Vengeance. I remember really loving Kamen's score when I saw the film in the cinema back then.

The original soundtrack release was one of the most disappointing soundtracks I've ever bought. Seventeen years later, it's great to finally have a release that'll do this score justice!

Also looking forward to The Untouchables.

Knowing Morricone's penchant for writing a lot of music and giving the director a lot to choose from THE UNTOUCHABLES will be especially sweet!

Am I being a bit thick here?

People are saying 'ordered' or 'will be ordering next Tuesday'-from the original post I get the impression these titles aren't going up for sale until 3 December. Am I wrong?

Oh my sainted aunt!!!!! If that isn't the best ever multi-release variety collection I don't know what is. All must-haves.
Heart says yes. Wallet says no. Wallet beaten up. Wallet says yes.
LA LA you are tops.

Between these and Conan, at this point, I think a heroin addiction would be cheaper and easier to manage.

I can't buy anything right now because I have to wait to see it I get it for Xmas, or save money to buy presents for other people.
