I'm curious as well on the differences between Varese's expanded edition of Home Alone 2 vs. LLL's.

Well is does say 'newly remastered and slightly expanded reissue', so I wouldn't expect too much 'new' stuff.

Both mix and edits from the album and the soundtrack sound so different from each other that I have thought for many years the album was actually a rerecording. Unexpected and fantastic news ! 'The Untouchables' is simply a height in his career and thanks to this release justice has been done...without throwing anybody from a roof !
Most def gonna order Die Hard with a Vengeance. I remember really loving Kamen's score when I saw the film in the cinema back then.
The original soundtrack release was one of the most disappointing soundtracks I've ever bought. Seventeen years later, it's great to finally have a release that'll do this score justice!
