I haven't, and typically when I order from Intrada on a Monday, I have the CD by Thursday or Friday at the latest. I suspect this is just a sympton of holiday processing delays.

Ok!. Brave! Off course for this new edition. Congratulation for Mr. Fakes, BUT WHEN ARE, the originals "END CREDITS", on this edition? WHEN, WHENWHENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN????????? First, STOP SHOUTING. Second, they are on the album in a sense - the end credits music was put together from cues in the score. You can't expect Fake to replicate the editorial suites on every CD like with Robocop and Predator. This user is only 2 months old and he's bashing Intrada, so my guess is it's another one of those people or the SAME guy/girl/it that signs up to FSM only to bash them which only makes them look idiotic and stupid, but again, some folks are that way and those that have an IQ have to live with them I guess.

This film was a bit of a disappointment for me. Being a big college basketball fan and knowing about Indiana High School mania (Rick Mount anyone?) i really looked forward to this. Maybe, it was the melodrama (the Dennis Hopper character in particular) but it just didn't ring true to this b'ball fanatic. bruce Mr. Marshall, Of course this was not college basketball. Being a person born in Indiana and going to schools there, I can afirm that the film is VERY true to life (as much as a movie can be). And I actually grew up among some of the High Schools mentioned in the movie. Although some of them have been shuffled around for some reason. Of course, all that happens in "HOOSIERS" is of a time when the Indiana state athletic association had rules that meant the state high school chamapionship could go to ANY school no matter it's size. That rule has long since been changed. Today, a school, like Milan (in the movie) or the one I attended, could NOT compete for a winner-takes-all state championship. They would be in the 8A category, or something. But about this score. It's glorious, although I wish Goldsmith had recorded it in the USA. A footnote: The very first Jerry Goldsmith concert that I atteneded was in Indianapolis, in January 1989. Goldsmith 'premiered' his HOOSIERS music there (for obvious reasons). But there were no synths. Still, the film, disappointing as it seems to you, was (I beliieve) quite authentic for the time and place. Although I tend to agree with you that Dennis Hopper overplayed is part a bit.

I know - but it was through being a COLLEGE fan that I knew about HS basketball! It wasn't just Hopper but all the melodrama that was squeezed into the film - the coach who no one liked given ONE LAST CHANCE TO PROVE HIMSELF , the 'heroic' music for the final game countdown etc I just thought it was a bit of a missed opportunity bruce

Hackman and Hopper's characters are parallels. I've always seen the basketball as merely the background and catalyst for a story about much deeper conflicts.

David the director truly captured Indiana perfectly and it helped that he's from Indiana. The score fits like a glove to the film if you ask me. I bet that Indy concert was fantastic Bill!!

I wanted a film about the players , not the coaches bruce If anyone knows your thoughts Bruce my friend, you are one of the hardest people to please it seems as you rarely ever seem pleased or satisfied. I bet you could be given $1000 in $100 bills and you'd still say, "well I appreciate the money, but it would have been nicer to have some smaller bills like $20's."
