At least one long requested 90's title is getting the Deluxe Treatment. I knew about Die Hard 2 a few months before it was announced. Wish I could divulge more, but would rather not be cut off from people more in the know. We'll just have to be patient, but be warned:save your pennies. So when are these mythnical Club CD's going to be released?? Not only short but several releases have been overruled by other lables offering an overall better quality product like; Die Hard and Predator, that seems it makes this lable a bit obsolete in a some way. Oh yeah, they were the label that woke me to film scores when I went looking, at those darn odd long boxes in the maroon like color. I just think they have been eclipsed by La La Land and Intrada as far as the detail, breadth, number and value of the releases. I think that these other labels have more of a complete focus on scores, whereas it seems VS has concerns with other things. First we find many of their older titles last year for $4 in Family Dollar stores, then we are told that the company has been sold and then titles start to show up on their website on sale? They have to be cleaning out the warehouses. It has been almost a year since any new Club releases. Are they not able to compete with the other labels that are re-releasing and expanding scores? Time will tell. Then let the other labels take over the job of releasing titles. I am pretty sure labels like Kritzerland and Intrada can release their titles within a year of getting the rights to them. The soundtrack aficianado shouldn't have to wait 5 years for a certain release. Any soundtrackers from the 60s-70s wanna field this one?    Posted:   Aug 14, 2013 - 2:09 PM     By:   serifiot   (Member) I hope they will have encore releases of first batch club titles like Fedora/Crisis, Raggedy Man, Vibes, Jagged Edge, We're No Angels, etc. We did get The Burbs in expanded form some time ago and Eye Of The Needle with no extra music. I don't think we got more than that as far as club rereleases. La La must know something he's not telling us. And I am sure a good many scores are just not that profitable from what Lukas Kendal said before.
