For anyone who is disappointed to have missed out on this (it's no longer available from Intrada, SAE and Moviemusic) you will be interested to know that there are still four copies left on Intrada's Amazon product page. Orders are fulfilled by Amazon. So if you want a copy, get it quickly.

http://www.amazon.com/Sebastian-Jerry-Goldsmith/dp/B00EYKC0TQ/

I didn't know that Intrada sold their CDs on Amazon. Shipping to the UK is only 7 dollars too. I could have ordered many items that way! I pay a small fee to my bank because it's an overseas transaction, but it's negligible.

They have 117 CDs listed so definitely worth a look for any items that have recently sold out on their site.

Thanks for the reminder. I just got one (they only had three copies available).

This is a great album. The LP eluded me so I was happy to get the CD.

What does this score sound like? Being a Goldsmith fan never heard this one.

I think it is the style of scores such as "In Like Flint," "Warning Shot," and "The Prize." (That Austin Powers, heeey Babay! kind of music.)

-Rick O.

I have been loving LLL's WARNING SHOT release! Based off that comparison alone (and Spymaster's posted clip) I will be picking this up on day one!

EDIT: AHH! I just realized this is an old thread!

I’d like to give a warning for people ordering Sebastian on Amazon from dealers other than regular soundtrack dealers like Intrada or soundtrackers. I ordered the Intrada release on Monday from a miscellaneous dealer on Amazon after I found out the title was sold out. On Wednesday the package arrived and it was the Harkit release. I contacted the dealer, and everything was worked out to my satisfaction, but I’d hate for someone else to go through the same hassle. The two releases are both listed on the same Amazon listing, so there might be some “confusion” when the item is listed and shipped.

Ask and confirm which release they are selling before sending payment.

Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Indeed. The buying options are divided according to the release. For example, the Harkit CD is listed as 'Audio CD, Import, Soundtrack, June 30, 2009' with the Intrada release of 2013 underneath. Amazon will now only sell the Harkit release themselves, and the Intrada release is only available on Amazon Marketplace as new for $161....

Quite a turnaround from yesterday when there were four copies available from Amazon and a few at similar prices on Marketplace.

I just got mine today, and to my relief, it was NOT the cruddy sounding Harkit release (Thank God!).
Well, time to dump the Harkit iTunes download and to put the definitive version on my computer.
