Hi MV, thanks so much for these fantastic X-Files releases (I have played my Vol 1 box at least fifty times or more in the last two years). Are there any plans whatsoever to do a companion release of the complete Fight the Future score? (One of the most underrated sci-fi scores of all time, imho) smile

You never know.

My wallet will gladly pay for more X-Files (including Fight the Future!), Millennium, and the terribly-underrated Harsh Realm.

Hang on, there's going to be a vol. 2 of TNG, a possible vol. 3 of X-Files and the inkling of a possibility of Fight the Future! That's too much amazingness to reveal in one day.

Fantastic release LLL !

Now, if only 'Miami Vice' would get a similar treatment, so much great music left unreleased, including Tim Truman's music

So MV...

Love volume 1 (playing it now in fact) and will be getting vol 2 as soon as possible next week.
With so much music still unreleased is there a possibility of a vol 3 at some point down the line or do you now consider the X-Files closed?

A vol 3 is most likely unless sales of Volume 2 are terrible.

MV

Is that why we have no Vol 2 of Star Trek: TNG? Were sales terrible on Vol 1?

Still so much great music from TNG unreleased.

lol

No, sales were great on Vol 1. A Vol 2 is in the planning stages for 2014.

One Trek at a time, guys. One trek at a time.

MV

This makes me happy.

As for X-Files. I love the show and think the music works great within it, but outside of it I am not a big enough fan to buy La La's volume sets for it. But I am glad it is pleasing others.

Fight the Future however is great. And I would buy an expanded remastered release immediately.

Lex Luther an I have devised a plan to buy the Justice League score, only to ensure it has nothing that will ensure the downfall of our evil schemes.

"Needle Neck" from Herrenvolk has got to be the chase music from the top of the 1st Act.

I certainly hope so. Feeling a little concerned about talitha cumi and redux ii based on the track titles. Fingers crossed!

Ditto about Redux II. I was hoping the music from the climax (Blevins unmasked, CSM shot) would be included, but now I don't know.

As for Talitha Cumi, I think the first track is either the teaser music or a track playing as Mulder interrogates witnesses of Jeremiah Smith's healing powers. I'm pretty sure the second track scores the climactic standoff - which would make it the perfect companion piece to "Needle Neck"!
