GM, LLL stopped advertising products as 'Complete' a while back. There was too much nagging over what justified the term.

We'll probably have everything on there. smile

I think they only put that because of some minor complaints like "Hey! The 7-second alternate take for this part film (fill-in-the-blank) isn't here! It isn't COMPLETE!"

But I do believe that all the scores that say 'Expanded' (Home Alone, 1941, and Bad Girls to name a few) are complete or practically complete. I do like the word 'Complete' better, but hey, getting more score is itself a treat!

That's true! I mean If this had more than the biggest boot it would be like five discs lol and I doubt that they'd do that so it would only be "expanded" compared to that heh

I'm very excited for this! Hurry up and let us buy it lol

Yeah, but the biggest boot had a ton of repeats on it. Multiple takes of Arrival of Tink / Flight to Neverland where nothing of value was lost; film edits of things; album edits of things; take all of that out, we should be good.

I suspect we'll get inserts and things like that presented "as is" (like on Home Alone); but that's ok, most of us aren't lazyasses, we can afford to edit music. big grin

This will obviously be another "limited edition," so I wonder how many units it's going to be. This is going to be an instant sell out. I hope La La Land takes into account how popular this is going to be. Intrada's Space Camp sold out in a day and 1941 didn't take very long either...

Not only is LLL's expanded Fall Of The Roman Empire out today, but there are fewer than 200 copies left of 55 Days At Peking! I didn't expect a Tiomkin to sell that quickly, so kudos to La La Land for good sales on that title.

Hook and possibly another title or two should be announced in two days! I wonder what else is up LLL's sleeve...

Question for La La Land? Have you guys ever looked at doing spider-man 3 there's still so much material unavailable and surely plenty of unused/alternate cues too.

Looking forward to hook, not a huge fan of the film but love the score and def getting it to support the label.

If I understood correctly, MV said there's a weird rights thing preventing expanded releases of the Elfman and Young scores.

Hope that gets sorted out eventually, I'd love an official (preferably complete) release of 3.

That's correct. There's something weird going on so that there is no way a label can release a score... for now, anyway. I'm not sure how long. I remember reading about many, many people asking Christopher Young about it and he was getting tired of answering that same question all the time. I too would love a release of Spidey 3, but for now, we just have to wait. frown

It has something to do with Young using some of Elfman's material in Spiderman3. You have to pay 2 composers. Some along the lines of Young having to get permission to you Elfman's music into his score of the film. Something along those lines. I cannot remember exactly.

Not just Elfman, but wasn't it an issue of other additional composers being used in Spider-Man 3's score as well? Just for small parts, but parts nonetheless.

Oh of course Elfman's themes, additional composers sure is a shame tho but hopefully one day we can see a realease of all the music composed for that movie.
