My requests to LLL is unreleased and expanded John Debney scores:

Lair
The Scorpion King
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

The complete release of Cutthroat Island remains to this day one of my all-time favorites

Goldsmith is the flavor of the month, eh?

Really hoping for an expanded River Wild or Ghost and the Darkness! Maybe this year...

I second that

I would add Congo also...

Goldsmith in Africa would be a great 4CD set, 2CD for Ghost & Darkness and 2CD for Congo

Best idea I've heard in a long time! That's the kind of thinking we need around here!

Bonus 5th disc: expanded King Solomon's Mines. smile

Just looking at LLL's relationships, I would think/hope that Williams' EMPIRE OF THE SUN and Goldsmith's CONGO are on the agenda.

EOTS remains a personal grail.

JNH + Western = Wyatt Earp ??

It sounds a possibility, but how 'incomplete' is the original release? As I remember, it was a generous length. Of course, it may be a straight reissue.

The 'current' release is missing the end titles.

Speaking of straight reissues, I wonder if this would be possible with Twister...?

M.V. recently said there are still issues with expanding this one and that we should all move along. At this point, since the original CD is OOP, I'd be perfectly happy if LLL simply reissued the existing CD.

As for Goldsmith in Africa, count me in! The Ghost and the Darkness is another OOP title that could use a re-release.

As for Congo, what's missing from the album? I know there's one Trek-esque cue that plays over the shot of the Travicom satellite, and another cue for the scene with our heroes driving away from the airport... what else? I'm pretty sure "Bail Out" is used at the end. Could there be more unused music?

I'm going to guess that Arnold release is either LAST OF THE DOGMEN or SHAFT.

Wow! Some Box set news from MV on what to expect this year. Remember, this is what is planned... things can change. But for right now, anticipate:

1. X-Files Volume 2 (4 discs, in a box)
2. Another 4-disc title (no box)
3. A third 4 disc set (no box)
4. 5+ disc set (in a box)
5. 5+ disc set (in a box)

As for titles, I am leaning toward TV shows (probably at least one Trek of some sort) and possibly another video game compilation. Then again, maybe one could be a movie franchise. I highly doubt a 4 or 5 disc box would be from just one film.

And Jason LeBlanc kindly pointed out that two LLL videogame titles are available for pre-order at Amazon.com: Starhawk by Christopher Lennertz and Sorcery by Mark Mancina.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007SBHKAW/
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007SBHKBG/

Both are listed as 1-disc releases available June 19th. I'm waiting to order from LLL - they like to offer autographs!

Wow thats a lot of boxsets, call me surprised after that mixed success FSM seems to have had. (And LLL themselves with MOH and X-Files still not sold out). Was this posted on Facebook?

Don't forget that there may be a DEEP SPACE NINE set in there somewhere, which was vaguely hinted at in interviews when LLL released their TNG set. (And I'll say again, that is a release I want to see more than any other....)

Wonder what the big 4-year project with Sony/Paramount was? ST: TMP or Top Gun?

The latest from Facebook:

Our voyage began 3/22/2009 and today, 4/23/2012, the final proof was signed off on. . .the booklets/tray cards are being printed as I type!

(Nearly 3 years to the day! Funny how some projects work out.)

June 5th 2012 at 1 pm prepare to boldly go. . .

wink

Also from Facebook: To quote John Hammond, "Spared no expense." wink LLL 1207 is our crowning acheivement

Let the flailing commence! smile

Random thought: if it is Star Trek: TMP, and they started in early 2009, I wonder if the original plan was to get it out for Black Friday 2009, for the film's 30th anniversary...?
