I am not listening to it directly, but I am hearing Christmas music through my floor. I live in the apartment above my father and for some reason he purchased IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. He did not want to tell me and did not know he was playing it that loud.

Oh, look! "Kim Tong" lives in the apartment above "her" "father." "Kim's" "father" buys Kritzerland CD even though "Kim" doesn't approve because "she" has a grudge against Bruce Kimmel. "King Tong" overflows with "bee ess." "Kim" is actually banned member assuming new identity. "Kim" and her "father" are one in the same person, and both are "cuckoo."

I was thinking of this very score. How odd.

I really only come into this thread to see the variety of beautiful cover art - I don't typically care what one person's listening habits are from one day to the next, not any more than I expect somebody else to care about mine.

Without the art, what's the point of the thread? Any less (just the title) would be useless, and any more (detailed thoughts or analysis) would be better suited to a thread about the actual score, where other people may involve themselves.

What's the point? Maybe it's to talk about what board members have been listening to in July 2014, like the thread title says. Duh. No mention of art.

DP. Will just add that it took 45 seconds for my two-line posting to show up on screen after I hit the button to post it. Guess why.

This is great chamber music by any standards and the Tippett Quartet's performance is totally committed and flawless! One of my best purchases this year!...
