Don't use Paypal to order- I ordered 5 minutes after it was announced and no shipment confirmation yet.
I always use Paypal with LaLa and usually get first day shipping. Was at work yesterday and forgot about this until about 4:00, but still, they're pretty sharp about getting those first day orders gone.
Eraser is such a muscular score, good hard edged stuff - any Silvestri is welcome ! Hoping to have this one by Saturday to enjoy on my day off. Hint.
Yeah. With hints of his rejected Mission: Impossible score. (which I love)
I know Silvestri said in an interview that he didn't reuse any of that for Eraser, but there are similarities, and I remember at least a few of the electric guitar licks being virtually the same, note-for-note.

Where did you see this interview??? I'd love to read that.
Yeah, I didn't meant the theme, just the feel. His original M:I motif is one of my favourites by him.
It was in response to a question asking if he had brought anything from Pirates of the Caribbean when he replaced the composer for Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. It was a good explanation, so I figured it applied to the Mission: Impossible/Eraser situation as well. It's toward the end of the interview.

Incorrect assumptions I'm afraid, for you don't take into consideration the basic difference.
For once, Pirates of the Carribean wasn't even written, which makes it very hard to make any use of its "material." Mission: Impossible on the other hand was written and if you know the two scores [M:I + Eraser], you know the similarities.
