If you go to the Intrada page and select the 600x600 cover.

Then on the address bar change the "a" at the end to a "b" and hey presto.

Trying to get the alternative Titans cover but with no luck.

Try these:

"With discovery of complete 2" 24-track session masters, complete remix was now possible!"

Yeah, I seem to remember skipping the old Promethius release because half the score was in very bad quality....the sound samples here sound great.

I just....I just wish I knew how long this'll last.;

Oh yeah we have been spoiled this year w/the Poledouris scores. I gotta be selfish and cross my fingers for Red October next year..... wink

Thanks Intrada for another great Poledouris release.

Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for any release, but when you compare them to the amount of Goldsmith releases that happened in 2010, I don't think Poledouris fans have been spoiled this year. There are many other great Poledouris titles that could use a remastering/expansion, or even an initial release. ON DEADLY GROUND, UNDER SEIGE 2, THE RETURN TO THE BLUE LAGOON, FLIGHT OF THE INTRUDER, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, STARSHIP TROOPERS just to name a few. Here is to more Poledouris (and John Barry) titles being released in 2011. Great job as always Intrada. You rock !

I was lucky and held off on the Prometheus release when I heard/read about the poor quality on the bonus tracks. I already had the Varese release.
This is, quite simply, an awesome score by maestro Poledouris. One of his best.
My money is yours Intrada. Great release! Can't wait to hear the improved sonics.

Oh well...perhaps the former Prometheus release (which relegated the useless bonus tracks to the end of the CD) will now plummet in price, making it affordable to me. That's something to hope for, I guess.

I'll sell it to you for twenty bucks, how about that?

He, he....well, I'm hoping it'll get a bit lower than that eventually. smile

Thor, I will happily sell mine to you for £10 plus P+P!!!

I would love the new version but until I can sell my copy it will have to wait!

I'm shocked it's lasted this long.

I got my copy today and have played it once. It sounds FANTASTIC. As always, great job Intrada. I have always loved this score, but never played it much (like FIRST BLOOD) because the sound of the other two discs was not very good. Well I have played FIRST BLOOD more in the last month than I have the other editions since they came out. I am sure FLESH + BLOOD will be the same. If you are on the fench about this one saying I have the other discs, don't hesitate. The sound IS that much better. Finally this fabulous Basil Poledouris score has been done justice ! Like FIRST BLOOD, the third time for FLESH + BLOOD is the charm. Thanks again Intrada.

OMG! Didn't know I had one of those in me, but there you have it.

By the way, does anyone know if the actual film had a stereo mix? I've never understood why some stereo score masters are downmixed for a final film mix in mono... But then I remember hearing something about how even Stanley Kubrick preferred a mono mix in some cases because he thought his films sounded better that way across a variety of different theater equipment. I guess reasons varied for use of mono.

I suspected Flesh + Blood as having a mono track from my experience with it on VHS years ago, when my recorder didn't pick up stereo and adjusting the tracking didn't help. ...And there was no mention of stereo in the film info on the label... I'll see if I can find out whether it was remixed for dvd...

I put in an order, even though I can't really afford it, because I don't wanna get shut out on this one.

Looks like Ramen Noodles and tap water for a while. frown

I ordered this, along with Star Trek V and Clash of the Titans using a gift certificate with SAE. I certainly hope they set one aside for me, I haven't gotten any sort of order confirmation. I wrote them an email the day I ordered and the response was that they'd take care of it. I just hate the uncertainty!

Just got the email that my order from Intrada has shipped and placed another one from SAE today once I saw the SOLD OUT display over on Intrada's website.

If the second order goes through, expect to see it on the trading post!
