Hi,

Could you tell me the address to get a signature of these composers?

Thomas Newman
Randy Newman
George Fenton
Mychael Danna

Did you send the cover of a CD with a letter of appreciaton?

Thanks

Howdy - yes, I did send a short letter of appreciation with the CD cover.

For Fenton and Danna, I used contact information given on the website: http://www.eatonmusic.com/ (Fenton) and http://www.mychaeldanna.com/. With Danna, it was by eMail; his PA told me where to send everything.

Can't remember where I got addresses for the two Newmans, however... Hope that helps a bit (and my apologies for the late reply).

Williams also signs by mail but this might take almost two years. Ask Christian Kühn, he sent a cover and got it returned signed.

Yeah, sent the cover and letter to his Los Angeles office (which, hehe, upon a Google Earth check probably was his actual home address...oops!) back in December of 2004. It was returned in summer of 2006, from Massachusetts.

I would be pleased and honored to autograph THE BUNKER soundtrack for anyone who purchases one.

If the cover art is nice, I would never want it defiled by the signature of a guy who looks like some square you would see on the golf course or at a Republican fundraiser.

Would anyone has a tip how to reach Elliot Goldenthal, Michael Giacchino or Thomas Newman, please?
If you don't want to post it in public forum, my email is in my profile...

I would love to have either The Empire Strikes Back or ET signed by John Williams. Keep hoping it will happen someday but...

I really want to frame that one.

If anyone has ANY autograph contact information, I would like to ask them to please share it with me ... if I request an autograph, I am always polite, complementing of the work, and write a short, to-the-point letter. My email is david piano man at yahoo dot com. Thanks everyone.

And if so, I'll try and return the favor. I have the information for a few composers.

I can also confirm that Burwell does not autograph anything. Except for one instance when someone got lucky at some NY concert.

Yeah, I've seen your video. Impressive! You must be very lucky with your Fargo copy.

I feel very bittersweet about it because i tried to get him to sign two covers, one for dmd, and he, very politely just smiled and quickly scribbled his name on Fargo and handed them both back to me, and which point his wife said "wow, he never signs anything". I think it was just the circumstances. The concert was for a celloist, with a short suite of CB's music with CB on the piano. So maybe he was touched that I came to the concert to see him. He was very friendly and seemed like someone you would want to sit down and chat with. But since he was with his family seated at a table right next to me, i did not want to press it and try to get a picture or try to push the second cd to be signed.

But while its cool having it and i treasure it, like i said its very bittersweet. However if someone offers me a house, sans houseboy, or a million dollars..... Its theirs. wink

I've got an e-mail from manager of Zbigniew Preisner that they don't send autographs. I suppose the only chance with him would be while meeting him in person or does anyone have any experience with him?

Has anyone ever get anything signed through mail from Edward Shearmur or Graeme Revell?

Has anyone ever tried to get in touch with any of the following and ask them for an autograph?

- Luis Bacalov
- Angelo Badalamenti
- Richard Rodney Bennett
- Vladimir Cosma
- Robert Folk
- David Michael Frank
- Michel Legrand
- Sylvester Levay
- Nicola Piovani

Any experiences with any of them, please?

bump wink

Has anyone at least seen a Luis Bacalov autograph or he is one of those who never sign?
I am still trying to find a way to contact anyone near him (or Cosma) as these two are currently at the top of my list...
I would love to get Legrand too, but he seems to be quite difficult to reach.

I got a signed EQUUS LP by Rodney Bennett through Soundtrackers. This could mean he didn't have any problems about signing autographs. Or it could also mean mine's a fake.

Bennett seemed to be approachable if you got the right contact. I was actually getting very close to getting something signed by him, but he was ill and sadly passed away just a few days after my first successful contact with his representatives. frown

You can try to compare yours with this for example:

Thanks for the pic. The signature looks exactly like mine.
Sad to hear you were so close, but even more sad to know that it was his death that made the contact impossible.

Has anyone here have ever any luck with Luis Bacalov or Nicola Piovani or have you at least seen their signatures? Still trying to reach these two but it's pretty much impossible to find any viable way to contact them...
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Of course if you prefer not to write about it here, you can contact me through e-mail listed in my profile.
