Might the score in question be a comedy or musical?

Maybe it's a world premiere CD of The Carpetbaggers, at long last.

Was the LP a re-recording?

LP was a rerecording - and from what I'm told The Carpetbaggers is coming, just not from us. Look at my previous post carefully.

Long Day's Journey Into Night?

I don't know the score, but it doesn't seem to have had any kind of release. Any new Previn would be an essential buy for me.

I would release Long Day's Journey in a second, but it really only has a very brief score (for solo piano). I adore the theme and have it conducted by Previn on a 45 and on some other movie theme compilation, maybe Don Costa. I'm sure the tapes are long gone anyway.

But, Previn it is.

Is your release something like ALL IN A NIGHT'S WORK by Previn (from Paramount)?

.....or is your release something like a complete GOODBYE, CHARLIE by Previn (from Fox)?

Let me just say this: One of those had an LP release and therefore is not a world premiere. As to the other title, why I would be dancing and jig and a half because it's one of the most delightful of Previn's scores. Man, now I won't be able to SLEEP!
