I'd buy all of those. I'd especially like to see releases of "Sawtell for PONY EXPRESS or ARROWHEAD" and if only, Denver and the Rio Grande, that's another good one!

Another for us "Golden Agers" as someone put it in the La La Land thread that outlines their plans for about a hundred upcoming releases from the 1980s and 1990s, as if those were the only interesting decades for film music and those are the only things that sell. Of course, Laura and Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing would seem to put the lie to that (and those are about to be joined by How Green Was My Valley and a couple of others), but it's always nice to be put in a category as if people who liked these scores are old fuddy-duddys. But the thing about the old fuddy-duddys is that they have open minds and also like music from the 1980s and 1990s. Funny how that works.
Are these scores complete, or are some elements now lost?
And is either in stereo?
I can't keep up.....
SUZIE WONG and TOO LATE BLUES are phenomenal. I play them over and over while I work on various projects around the house.
I'm eagerly awaiting the Waxman collection, and especially ELEPHANT WALK. That's one I've always had on my Holy Grail list and I already have my bag of peanuts ready to dissuade any rogue elephants from trampling my garden while I listen.... (BOTANY BAY was also a long-wished-for score.....)
And now, THE FAR HORIZONS, which I've regularly enjoyed from the old Hans Salter LP that Tony Thomas produced back in the '70s. SECRET OF THE INCAS is another from the vein of filmmusic gold.
It is amazing what you're mining from the Paramount catalog, Bruce, and these scores are a really special addition to the Golden (and sometimes Silver) filmmusic history. I will certainly support this Kritzerland endeavor regularly as you continue releasing these things.
Wonderful ! Keep those 50's and 60's releases from Paramount coming, Bruce. SHANE at Lalaland should have sold out in a few days. Perhaps that is why they have gone to more recent decades. Whatever. Kritzerland is great.

Kritzerland is now my favorite label!
I think it is official. Kritzerland has replaced Varese as Golden Age central for releases. I thank Varese for their past releases and look forward to more from all the labels from this era. But Kritzerland has stepped up and now is the primary focus for a wide world of releases.

I was lucky enough to visit Hans Salter at his home in 1980 and 1983. A really nice man. So the Salter score means a lot to me. There is so little by David Buttolph, great to have this score too.
I know this will be a tougher sell than a Waxman or a Newman, but Salter was a MAJOR composer as was Buttolph, IMO, and both deserve more than they have on CD. And I have to say, it's a rather addictive listen, which is always of prime concern to me.
The Far Horizons is in mono - Incas is in great stereo. It's all the surviving cues for both - close to seventy minutes between the two.

I'll be grabbing this release as I have every film score release since Scent of Mystery. The Far Horizons is a favorite movie of mine.
