Not sure which one you're thinking of, dan... I wonder if you mean one of the early Universals, especially the original Lugosi DRACULA, which just had that bit of "Swan Lake" for the credits, and a little snippet at the end. Or could it be THE BIRDS? Or maybe THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT? Did that have a score of any kind? Is it a "genre" film anyway?

So, not sure, but are you thinking of one of those three?

TO GRAHAM- Sure, your right, THE BIRDS didn't have any and THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT as well didn't have a music score, As your title indicates this is genre films we are talking about, right? HORROR SCIFI, FANTASY.

While collaborations on scoring music for a film happens more often then one might realize, the credits listing such events are basically rare in film music history. Universal pictures in the 40's and 50's had a team of composers whose music were used, such composers as HANS SALTER, CHARLES PREVIN, HENRY MANCINI, HERMAN STEIN,JOSEPH GERHESON ETC, ETC. Can you name 2 composers who worked together on a string of genre films in the 50's and 60's who both did get credit for composing music, right on the film credits usually and elsewhere.
