I was going to say so - the Debney puzzled me until I remembered Cutthroat Island.

Not even a guess, eh?

A director with several major classics on his resume---including RASPUTIN AND THE EMPRESS starring the three Barrymores, Lionel, Ethel and John, THE GARDEN OF ALLAH, with Marlene Dietrich and Charles Boyer and one of the first Technicolor films, LES MISERABLES with Fredric March and Charles Laughton, CLIVE OF INDIA with Ronald Colman, and THEODORA GOES WILD, a classic screwball comedy with Irene Dunne---who died at the very young age of 47.

BTW, I can't believe I left John Williams out of the J. Lee Thompson chain, but then, JOHN GOLDFARB, PLEASE COME HOME isn't the most memorable of films.
