Looking forward to having all versions of this lovely score.

I just received my copy today. The previously unreleased cues are a treasure. The sound is great. I sometimes forget what a brilliant talent Jerry was. He has to be one of the most versatile film composers of all time. Boy! I'm really looking forward to this new incarnation of TGTR. And you're absolutely right about Jerry, he was the one of the very best.

Here's the scoop! Forget the Varese SACD. This is comprehensive, complete, and shimmers with exceptional clarity. And this is as complete as you can get! Douglass Fake did Jerry proud!...And I humbly thank you, kind sir.

Received my copy today! How did it sound? Better than Varese? I described it above as "shimmers with exceptional clarity." It's really great. That's a total understatement!...I'm a recording engineer and I've never heard a 1/4" two track tape from the late 70's sound THAT good. Excellent sonic work all-around. Anybody can have a problem with any CD out there, but with this release (considering its history) complaints about sound quality, to me, would be a real head-scratcher!

Yes, it's especially strange because in the recent past Intrada's been doing their "Album" and "Extras" sections, which in this case would've been particularly appropriate. Yavar

I just bought the Varese edition a few months ago, and I really was disappointed with the remix. Still, I didn't know if this Intrada edition was worth it. This release is worth it just for the original album tracks. But the previously unreleased material brings all the Goldsmith-y goodness not on prior releases, and the mix/mastering is superb.

I felt that the alternates of "Breakfast In Bed" were well programmed because each version was very different. I find they flow into one another.
