Well, I still vote Enterprise before Voyager; and I saw someone else up there say the same. I can take or leave Voyager, personally... though of course if a set had more Captain Proton music on it, I'd be all over that. Maybe there's more fun music from the series I'm forgetting, but the show itself was just so forgettable most of the time it's all just a haze. Whenver DS9 comes out, I'll definitely be ordering on day 1. I vote Enterprise before Voyager as well. MV' The Motion is carried. (as far as I'm concerned). Ford A. Thaxton

Essential purchase for me, just for the undoubtedly excellent Walker suites. A pity though that I have to buy a 4CD set to get just the four Walker-only suites that would easily fit on a single disc. Count again! "Nothing To Fear," "Feat Of Clay, Part II," "The Laughing Fish," "Shadow Of The Bat, Part I," "Read My Lips" and "Fire From Olympus" are all solo Walker credits. "I've Got Batman In My Basement" is a lengthy score that's almost entirely Walker as well (Rodriguez contributed a single cue -- one of his early trials). So that's 7, rather than 4. Additionally, her direct contributions to scores like "The Cat And The Claw, Part I," "Heart Of Ice," and "Harley And Ivy" are substantial and indispensable. AND there are scores such as "Mad As A Hatter" and "If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich," which are dominated by her thematic material. But ultimately, I hope you'll find that the non-Walker scores included here more than justify her choice of team members! You won't find a bigger Walker fan than me, and it turned out that many of my absolute favorite cues on here were NOT by her!

Will probably pick up one of the B:TAS volumes... was Volume 1 a "best of" type of approach? Are there any repeated tracks in Vol2? And if not, wouldn't the amount of music in that one make the first one a bit... less important? (no offense MV) First, Volume 1 is made up of complete episode scores, just like Volume 2. (The first edition contained an "overture" of series highlights as a bonus track, but this is absent from the second edition.) Second, the only repeated track between the first two volumes (not counting the aforementioned "overture" excerpts) is the version of Danny Elfman's main title with FX. Third, there are SO many essential and "important" scores from this show that they never would have fit on a single volume -- not unless it were an enormous boxed set. In my judgment, neither of the two volumes to date is "more important" than the other; if you're a fan at all, you're really going to want them both! Skip Volume 1 and you miss the pilot score featuring Man-Bat, the incredible origin of Two-Face, three of the finest Joker scores, Perchance To Dream -- to name just a few! And even with six CDs and 32 episode scores released, there's still PLENTY of "important" material remaining ... LLL hasn't even gotten to the show's second production slate or the revamped "New Adventures" yet! Hope that answers your questions!
