Lehah, you've led a very sheltered life. I will use your post as an example of "First World Problems" for the immediate future...

And I will use your avatar for the same, sir.

My understanding is that no matter who owns the rights to release the music, they still have to be licensed through Paramount.

It's looking pretty grim honestly it would seem to see it until after this so called moratorium is lifted.

Good thing I've got awesome releases for the next few months to look forward to!

Feb - DS9
March- BSG: Blood and Chrome
April - Caprica
May - ST Into Darkness

Freeze? What freeze? CBS is releasing TNG season 3 and BOBW on blu-ray at the end of April. They are even showing BOBW in theaters! And all that a mere 2 weeks before Into Darkness is released. Doesn't make sense to me.

Ask MV. He was the one that made the statement about the "freeze". Although, I noticed my local collectors store had a HUGE display of newly released Star Trek starship, action figures and accessory toys from Art Asylum. Now if only they would release a 18" toy of the Reliant!

I'm guessing the freeze is on licensed products from third parties like LLL. Things that CBS or Paramount themselves have a hand in are of course not affected.

Correction. There is no longer a "freeze" as Paramount/CBS has been quite happy with the way Trek merchandising has been lately.

Interesting, so there is still hope that Insurrection, & Nemisis might come out this year.

if there is no longer a freeze then we should tell who ever is capable of releasing episode scores that it is a best seller.

personally I want a tng vol 2 with a complete phantasms , parallels , timescape , especially where troi discovers dr crusher has been blasted frozen in time. Also a complete all good things...

MV told us about the freeze just before the end of last year (referring to how he thought they could barely squeeze through DS9 before the freeze happened). Could we actually get some concrete information about the current status? I want to know if I'll have to wait until November for Insurrection!

I hope that dude is right, this is my favourite Jerry TNG score - that theme is just gorgeous - and a complete release needs to happen.

But please, no Gilbert and Sullivan.
