I am glad to see Edelman get a release. I am not normally fond of synth driven music, but Edelman can write a great melody, so I enjoy his work. I have most of his legit CD releases. I still to this day love Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story.

How about LLLAND release something/anything by Georges Delerue?...

Since you are so incessantly vocal whenever a new release comes out through ANY company (including LLL) that doesn't release a Delerue score, we made it company policy we will never release one.

LOL

Great news regarding Police Academy and Wyatt Earp!

I was looking over that list we posted around the first of the year and the names MORRIS and EDELMAN threw me for a loop...but now I recall what projects those are! lol

Most likely those two will be out in 2014. The ARNOLD one is a little problematic (and frustrating considering both the master and liner notes are done). It may not ever see the light of day. A miracle might be needed on this one.

Got another Bernstein and at least 1 Tiomkin this year...would love to add another Tiomkin and toss in a Waxman, Steiner or a Rosenman, but it's not looking good on those releases for 2013. Hopefully 2014. Don't think we will ever be lucky enough to do a Herrmann, though. That well is tapped and/or taken. After everything is all said and done with the label that will be my only regret -- never having dropped a Benny. frown

As for the others, you just have to wait and see. smile

Hi MV!smileGive the poor guy a break, he just loves his Delerue. I know how he feels, I'm the same way with Conti. To tell you the truth I'd do the same if I didn't get so incredibly lucky as of late with Conti releases. I couldn't be happier right now and I wish him, and everyone, the same!smileBTW MV, thanks in advance for I, THE JURY. I can't wait.

That's some good news, especially the Bernstein.

Speaking of tapped out wells and Herrmann or Herrmann-esque stuff,
is "Lost in Space" a tapped out, whatever-was-there-is-out done deal?

Not that we may not already have perfection. The two-disc "Lost in Space" was and is audio Nirvana! What a perfect representative package. The release of the Leith Stevens "Blast off into Space" music? Wondrous.

Does THE PELICAN BRIEF really need an expanded release? Was there a lot of music missing from the original album? If I remember, the best cues were on the original.

Maybe, maybe not but the thing is I think they said that they`re working on almost every Big Screen Records releases and The Pelican Brief is such a release. And Dennis The Menace is also from them so that makes a pretty good guess.

Any update on the Horner(s), please?
Is only one coming or more? Or is it also getting delayed?
Can't wait no matter what it is ;-)

Oh man, if that Arnold score is Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough or Die Another Day and it actually happens, I will be ecstatic.

Also hoping that Kamen is X-Men. It's something of a semi-grail for me.

Something is telling me that it's "The Stepford Wives"

LLLCD 1250 - WYATT EARP - Mr Costner has signed off on the package (and he loved it, I might add). We are just waiting on WB to give us the final thumbs up on the artwork. It's at least 2 months out, though.

So is this is coming out in TWO months? or just about next month in July?

Why?

It always saddens me when someone is preventing a score release from happening, especially when all the work is done. (Yes still smarting a bit about The Storyteller)

Tell me that you didn't mean Arnold Schwarzenegger. Please! No Schwarzenegger means no Kamen = no Last Action Hero....

Don't forget about this:

http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=94332&forumID=1&archive=0

From La-La Land Facebook:

Question:
"Hello, Lalaland! Gentlemen, is there a possibility to release John Debney's Lair?"

Answer from La-La Land:
"You may just get your wish this year".

I want LAIR
