There's still one more day to replace the score for U.S. release, right? Right?? What are those Cinemascore guys doing today?

Score works well in the movie, which is visually stunning and impressive.

Just trimmed down the digital version to a 77 minute playlist, which is good for me. Will have to compare it to the CD tracklisting.

When I said "carpet bombing" I don't mean anything bad per se. I'm sure it works well in the film. It's just... sometimes you want for a film that looks great something more than just "works well".

Or maybe I just can't get over Powell's departure.

The movie is amazing, a must see, the score is the only week point on it, the Inception drums over and over and over. But what's on screen is so damn good it works.

the score worked very well in the film. More then just drums. Also enjoyed the parts where the score basically functioned as source music for the drum players who underscore the pursuit, and the awesome guitar guy.

Holkenborg's score nicely follows the insanity and visceral drive of Millers amazing film.

It's hardly subtle, bit nor were Brian May's and Jarre's previous scores for this franchise.

Maybe it works well with the movie,i miss personally the orchestra works from Brian May and Maurice Jarre, and orchestra in total.
Maybe it,s time to release the complete score from Mad Max II the road warrior.

While The Road Warrior has an effective score, the one Brian May did for Mad Max is far too overbearing for my tastes. At times it works well, but there are plenty of scenes when it's nothing but overbearing noise that makes draws attention it itself in a bad way.

Yeah, Road Warrior is May's best IMO.

Movie good. Movie has action sequences that make audience say "Wow!"

Score not good. Score not know this was special movie. Score could have been "written" by you or me.

This 2015.

The film is astonishing - very much a modern action classic. I don't particularly care for the score on album, but I do have to admit that it's perfectly functional in the film - it certainly doesn't detract from the film. That said, I don't think it really adds much to it either and I didn't really notice any standout moments other than just to note that it was a pretty standard media-venturesq sound.

I wonder what the film would have been like with a truly adventurous score to match the equally adventurous visuals - pity John Powell didn't hang on to score the film - it seems like he could have done a lot given the rambunctious energy of the film, especially given how good his animation scores' action cues are.

Chris.
