Where'd you get that cover artwork from? Is it a custom job?

It's actually from the Japanese CD release, on the Volcano Records label (CPC8-1011). They licensed a bunch of CDs from the Varese catalog for release in Japan, and usually created original cover art for them. The label bit the dust a few years ago, though, unfortunately.

Here are a few of my other favorite Volcano covers:

Can be VERY headache-inducing if you're not in the mood!

Thor, are you in an Elfman mood or do they just happen to both be Elfman scores you wanted to play?

Perhaps I'll follow suit after the CD I'm listening to right now. Maybe a re-play of MARS ATTACKS!

Now Playing:

Christopher Young's incredible smile DRAG ME TO HELL.

Did I say incredible?

Hey, GoldsmithFan: For some reason your images aren't posting, or at least aren't posting for me. Is it just my computer? (Your previous image up above also didn't post for me.) frown

They show up fine for me. Give me a minute or two. I'll try something.

EDIT: Okay, I made a change. Let me know if you can see them now. If so, I think I know what the problem was.

Yep, all good now. What was the problem, so I don't do it myself. smile

Awesome! The images were from SoundtrackCollector.com. I normally use Amazon, but they didn't have the last two. SoundtrackCollector must disable remote linking, though for some reason I could still see them just fine. Odd.

Yeah, odd for sure.

Hey, HARD TARGET's deleted? Sux. Just got BLOODSPORT but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Are you a VanDamme fan or a Debney fan (or both?). We certainly know you're a Goldsmith fan.

I'm a fan of both, though I haven't seen/heard much of what they've done lately. The last Van Damme movie I saw was Replicant, which I thought was one of his best, and the last Debney score I heard was probably Zathura, though I don't remember much of it.

No, you're right, I'm in an Elfman mood again these days. I have so many CD's of his that I need to play them with regular intervals, even the ones I don't play very often (like FLUBBER above).

Great Streetcar Named Desire-style Alex North jazz and Susan Hayward had a hell of a singing voice.

I got this for Jesse James due to my Leigh Harline kick, but the Lionel Newman score I think I prefer, just for that great main theme.

This one is gorgeous. Too bad Christopher Young is often typecast in horror/thriller mode, as his melodic side is beautiful when he lets it loose.

Good choice. I haven't played that in a while myself and will get to it shortly. But first:
