It all adds to the suspense, really hope it lives up to the expectation, I am sure it will, especially if it is the POA set. In my opinion, the expectations are a little too high. Especially with regard to U.S. soundtracks. Most CDs released by QUARTET contain European soundtracks. This is also obvious, as it is a Spanish CD label. I don't like to speculate on upcoming releases. This has had a wonderful advantage for a long time. Since my expectation is zero, I cannot be disappointed! The Logic tells me, that when QUARTET announces an extraordinary release, that can be something completely different from the same announcement from a CD label, such as LA-LA LAND, INTRADA or VARESE. I would imagine that maybe for the first time they are releasing Golden Age scores by Spanish composers. To this day, parts of such soundtracks are only available as a new recording. The original recordings have probably been destroyed or lost for a long time. Some may have now been discovered ... I have had wonderful CDs for many years with new recordings of Spanish Golden Age scores by José Nieto from 1999/2000. And I've long wished that QUARTET might, if possible, release the original recordings of Golden Age composers like Manuel Parada, Jesús García Leoz, etc. They may certainly be largely unknown compared to big American names like Steiner, Waxman, Tiomkin, etc. I didn't see any of those old Spanish films either, unfortunately. I only know the new recordings by José Nieto from 1999/2000. But that's enough for me to say, that their music is worth as much to be released on CD as all the big names from Hollywood. Or QUARTET is now doing a new recording of other lost scores. A slightly younger candidate for a new recording would also be the lost but often requested scores of the BLIND-DEAD film series by Antón García Abril from the 70's. But QUARTET's announcement may also mean something very different, that would never occur to us ... So I stop with pointless speculation and let myself be surprised. Since I don't expect anything special, I can only be pleasantly surprised by QUARTET.

Okay.... are those ACTUALLY the titles of the final Quartet batch, or is it someone's "wish list"? Wishes.

War Games! Wow, even the original LP material which I grew up on and LOVED despite the dialogue (or even with that dialogue)! Fantastic release. Thank you, Quartet!
