I am loving the Volume 1 of the X files Music, I like others loved it but wondered about songs that werent included on the discs, but however I would like to post my requests now! wink as I love this box set and am listening to it at the moment as it only just arrived this morning! smile WOOOOO

Redux theme, when Mulder is with scully at the hospital. or just any of the music when Scully is in focus.
Momento Mori- When Mulder sees Scully at the end of the episode and they talk and hug.
Bad Blood, I LOVE this episode and think the Music is great
The episode when they dig up Mulder and Scully walks into the hospital and sees doggett then goes into Mulders room and cries, also in that episode when he wakes up and shes talking to him.

Also the Episode when Scully goes into the hospital and has flashback/visions of Mulder saying he'll be the father of her child, then again when it doesnt work. Cant remember if that was her theme from Without.

Music from One Breath

Music from Red/Black I think it is? when Scully gets taken to the Bridge and they abduct people then she goes under hypnosis to remember.

Any Music from Season 8, when Scully is searching/yearning for Mulder.

I know its a little vague but going to look into my epiodes tonight and see what other ones have music I can add to the list! smile

Also the post from Muldfeld was amazing including SO MUCH beautiful music.

The other track which I think is a MUST is the track after Mulder has disappred and Skinner goes to tell Scully and she announces that she is pregnant. A BEAUTIFUL piece of music. So beautifully written.

This was borrowed from Muldfeld but i also adore the music they posted and would love to see the tracks included on Volume 2.

From Paper Hearts- Scully comforts Mulder

From Momento Mori- Mulder brings flowers for Scully and Mulder finds Scully

From Gethsemane- Scully tells of Mulder's belief in a lie
Bill Scully confronts his sister Dana Scully
Mulder contemplates suicide/Scully discloses that he has died 42:07-44:04

Redux- Mulder contemplates suicide
Scully testifies (37:24-40:15 & 40:47-42:05)
-Mulder escapes Pentagon

Redux II- Mulder sees Samantha
Mulder speaks with Samantha
Mulder arrives at the hospital which then leads into Mulder at bedside of a sleeping Scully at 32:45-33:50
Mulder tells Skinner of Scully's cancer going into remission and weeps

Christmas Carol-Scully tells Mrs. Scully the PCR test shows Emily Sims is Melissa's daughter

Emily-Mulder has Frohike looks up names of impregnated seniors in a database/Scully talks to Emily before her test 28:55-30:48

The Red and the Black-Mulder searches among the burned victims

All Souls-The Kernof family receives Father McCue to baptize Dara, who later walks outside to a figure

Triangle- Mulder tells Scully he loves her

Per Manum- In the past, Mulder tells Scully about finding her stolen ova/Doggett opens the elevator in the present
-Scully arrives at home and calls Dr. Parenti to ask that he look at an ultrasound picture
Doggett reminds Scully he'll help find Mulder/Mulder consoles Scully after her ova seem to not fertilize

DeadAlive-Scully asks Doggett about Mulder's condition and enters Mulder's hospital room to hug him 1
Mulder awakens and talks to Scully

I hope this isnt too late and some of if not all can be included smile

You guys rock so much for releasing the music!!!!!!!!!!

Tahls85, you got some good picks in there! Mr. Snow's talent is tremendous and really speaks volumes literally. I still don't know how he managed to compose music for The X-Files, Millennium and Harsh Realm all at the same time. Speaking for myself I'm patiently but eagerly waiting for volume 2.

I'm sure it's been previously mentioned, but Vol 2 MUST include the season 7 finale, "Reqiuem" when Mulder gets abducted. It features one of the best renditions of the main theme in the entire series.

Actually I thought the last two seasons (definitely the last one) Snow's music got interesting again (especially with Scully) after the pastiche sounding seasons 6-7. It felt like it was on track again.

But I agree, the earlier stuff is better.

Yeah I'd disagree with that completely, particularly in the creation of Scully's theme.

There is some great stuff from the last two seasons -- and Scully's theme is definitely one of them. I was thrilled that they inlcuded music from the season 9 episode, "Release," on the Volume 1 set.

Why do I suspect the release of the Star Trek TOS set means we're not going to see volume 2 of The X Files until 2013?

Any news on when Volume 2 will get released? Very excited about this one!

LLL had indicated towards the beginning of the year that they would have four "box sets" in 2012, one for each quarter. The first was February's Friday the 13th, the second was Batman: The Animated Series in the summer. With Star Trek just announced, it appears that X-Files is a likely candidate for boxset #4 - since Star Trek likely isn't coming out until November, it's possible that we'll see X-Files in the next few months (as the "third quarter" release). Just a guess, of course.

Just a guess, of course.

Here's what LLL said (posted by Giacchino-fan in the 'LLL News' thread 16 April 2012):

"Box sets:

We do plan on having at least 2 more "box-sets" coming out this year (ala Friday the 13th and Medal of Honor). Two other 4 disc sets originally planned to be housed in "boxes" will no longer be housed in said boxes. FSM's recent Ben Hur looks great without one and so will these releases. We feel a "box set" should consist of more than just 4 cds. It should be something special -- an event release -- and when we have a concrete idea as to when these sets will be coming out we will let you know far in advance like we did with Friday the 13th. They will be pricey, so you should be able to get a heads up on saving your bucks."

They're differentiating between box sets and 4-CD sets. They've released BATMAN: TAS 4-CD set and confirmed that STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE will also be a 4-CD set. THE X FILES, VOLUME 2 will be a 4-CD set (and housed in a slipcase to match Volume 1 -- I didn't copy that part). The DS9 set has been confirmed for this year and THE X FILES is rumored to be coming out this year.

LLL's comment makes it seem as if there's another massive set coming out in addition to their just-announed STAR TREK: TOS set and all of the aforementioned 4-CD sets.

Can you remember how the first volume got pushed back and back again.

Maybe its the same problem here. I don't think it's the will of LaLaLand or Mark Snow but the licensing and approval of the artwork and everything around.

Lets hope the best, so that we can hold the 2nd Volume in hands at least at Christmas this year.

And no "Release Thriller" like the first volume from summer - to fall - to spring - to summer - to next summer - to fall - to May 2011 wink

Let me just clear this up -- the first volume did not get pushed back -- Mr Snow let the beans spill a year early on this project and we had to deal with the fan repercussion.

As for Volume 2, it will be arriving first quarter 2013. This Trek Set has taken up a lot of our time and financial resources and projects like X Files Vol 2 had to be pushed back to a later date.

The only remaining "box sets" you can expect from LLL in 2012 are DS9 and TOS.

This is still the greatest news ever! I cannot wait for the DS9 set -- something I've wanted for years and years and years. And I've registered for the other set as well. What an insane year it's been for LLL.... And whenever THE X FILES, VOLUME 2 gets released, I'll be on board for that one as well.

Kudos all around.

My comment was not meant as an insult in any way. I agree with you that Mr. Snows Comments got the fans made up much to early so that you guys had to try to keep us easy with our anticipation.

Now me and many others I think are eagerly waiting for Spring 2013 wink

And let me thank you all for getting on with the Scores of the X-Fies and making a dream come true for me! And hopefully making some more dreams come true in the future wink
