I saw the news last night and was really happy. I even saw GNP's Facebook post yesterday but it didn't click with me since it was a clip from a TNG episode.
Either way I'm glad this is coming out right after I get paid I'll be ordering it from their site for sure!
BTW if history repeats itself don't count on the track list liner notes being with the actual booklet....they'll probably just be available online only like Generations and First Contact.
I'm assuming that date is when it ships. Or is it when it is available for pre-order. Or is it when we get an official announcement with cover and track listings? Confusing!

Can't wait to see the artwork and especially get a tracklisting! I wonder how many significant alternates there are (if there are any besides the finale which everyone's already mentioned).

Yavar
From the unmentionable there are really only two, well three...
"Main Titles / Ba'Ku Village", orchestration is not much different except for the very end of the cue which is different compared to the film/ost version where Data uncovers the Federation and Son'a team.
"The Drones Attack", which on the unmentionable was generally labeled as "Weapon Systems Offline". That MAYBE included with the release since it's definitely different compared to the OST/Film version ending.
"A Few Loose Ends", there's some synth moment's towards the beginning in the film where Data is underwater and sees the fish and messes with it. On the unmentionable it's not there so I would imagine that GNP would use the correct take for the release.
I think only the alternate ending for "The Drones Attack" maybe included since the other two aren't really necessary.
"Well, here we go, guys. Thank you for your patience and support. As many of you noticed, Insurrection showed up on our site with an availability date of 8/6. That will be the ship date, and I will be making the album available for pre-order soon."
