dan - I posted on another thread a few weeks ago about RUBY, with music by Don Ellis. The full movie was up on YouTube, and it was interesting to see how Ellis wove that '40s sound into his original score. The film seems to have disappeared from YouTube, but I found the "commercial" version of the song (End Titles, I think) here -

PETER O TOOLE AND JAMES STEWART were both fine actors as for singing that is another issue- GOODBYE MR CHIPS-69- LESLIE BRICUSSE and MAN OF LA MANCHA-72- MITCH LEIGH, PETER gave it a shot getting hit hard by many critics. MR STEWART gave it a shot with THE MAGIC OF LASSIE-78- SHERMAN BROTHERS.
