FWIW: Kritzerland is the only label issuing titles I really want/care about these days. I agree. It seems like nearly all of the cds from the 40s, 50s & 60s are from Kritzerland. We are lucky to have Bruce. Bruce, will A Place in the Sun be shipped shortly? As noted above somewhere, A Place in the Sun shipped yesterday morning. I have now chosen our next release so guess away.

We are lucky to have Bruce. For the US scores, indeed. I wonder why no other label has an interest in this era. However, Italian labels are given us plenty of 60s scores which is also great! Next score: For me everything is fine. Usually the older the better and I guess I prefer the well known composers (Newman, Bernstein, Young, Friedhofer, Waxman), but I do not really mind which movie, as long as I do not already have the soundtrack (expanded or not).

Excellent release but -sorry- why does the following audio clip sound better, more opened, than Kritzerland’s mp3s: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJtlI8BB9t8 Does anyone know what this “promotional motion picture soundtrack” is? Hint: You just registered to make this post? Hint: You don't actually have our CD and are judging on the mp3 audio samples IF you've even heard those? Hint: It doesn't sound better and is clearly off the bootleg which is clearly off the tracks we had to work with (and we also had the tracks from which the boot was made)? Conclusion: Nice try but, I'm afraid, a fail nonetheless.

So far, no one has guessed our new title. It's a two-CD set for a one-CD price, that much I can say.

Nice try but, I'm afraid, a fail nonetheless. Sorry but what are you talking about? … IF you've even heard those? Oh, well… Let’s take for example the YouTube clip at 2:47 “The First Mile”. Yes -again I say- it sounds to me much more opened than the mp3 sample. You say you had tracks from a bootleg too, maybe the sound on those ones was more stereophonic… What am I talking about? I'm not even going to discuss this with you, for obvious reasons. Let's just say that Chris Malone, the miracle worker who saved this score, and I had a good laugh when listening to that You Tube clip. It has wow, anomalies and some odd fake stereo. If that's what you like, go seek the bootleg. You registered to make this post. You haven't heard our CD. You think it's hard to figure this out? Even Mr. Pulliam has heard how poor that You Tube clip is. I know what I think will happen next. Let's see if I'm right.

The score was recorded in mono. Correct - mono. I don't believe in processed cheese and I don't believe in processed sound. Oh, well.
