Wondering what the third one is... besides those Ten Commandments and Police Academy box sets smile)

Police Academy is not a box set and we are not releasing 10 Commandments (but we are prone to breaking them every now and then) wink

MV

Is this the first time that the PA rumor has been confirmed? smile

I'm not taking it as one, it is simply him saying they aren't doing a PA boxset.

If so he would have said, "We are not doing PA or 10 Commandments". Reads confirmed to me.

That, and a month or so ago, someone chimed in with news from Robert Folk's Twitter feed where he said it was coming some time in Q1 from "Lakeshore Records" and MV mentioned that he'd have to contact Mr. Folk to correct him.

In any case, La-La Land is about to make this child of the 80s very happy indeed. smile

In this thread (http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?forumID=1&pageID=1&threadID=95052&archive=0), MV made it very clear that they would love to, and have tried, to issue "Beverly Hills Cop," but have been unable to. He gives no explanation (nor should he). I wonder if MCA (label for the original song album with the single Faltermeyer track) owns all rights to this score, even though they've never put it out past the one track. Something like that would make it fathomable.

Two other selections from the BHC score ("Shoot Out" and "The Discovery") showed up as B-sides on 45s and 12" singles back in the day.

And let's not forget BHC2 and Fletch if someone gets 3 wishes from the Faltermeyer magic lamp some day...

Always been curious, between TOP GUN and COP is this a Simpson/Bruckheimer issue?

I'm always hoping for some Haim Saban/Shuki Levy stuff from the 80s cartoons...particularly The Real Ghostbusters....

I've seen a few dates floating around for Police Academy? Has there been any confirmation on whether it's going to be released in March, April or May? Been waiting for this one for a long time!

And this is why we don't like to talk about Fight Club. smile

It will be out when it comes out
