MV - What are the chances that Titanic will be back in stock before the sale ends?
Ta, CK
Dear Customers,
If you are a customer who would like to take advantage of our current 25% sale, but may still be deciding because the title(s) you want is not in stock (like ET or Alien 3), please know you can purchase a gift certificate now. The 25% discount will be deducted from your purchase at checkout and you can use the certificate at a later time, when the out-of-stock item(s) have become available again.
Some have been asking if we will receive stock of the out of stock titles before the sale ends.
The ONLY ones that may come in before the sale ends might be Dennis the Menace and Bobby Fisher, but we have been waiting nearly 2 months for them to arrive.
When the cd manufacturing plants of UMG, Sony and WMG closed this year it made chaos out of doing reorders with all 3 companies as they tried to figure out what they were going to do next. We had hoped to have ET and Waterworld back in stock, but alas they are not here.
Alien 3 and Titanic won't be back in stock for at least 30 to 60 days (we blew out of a ton of Titanic's the first day of the sale).
We are planning ahead for Fall and Winter (Black Friday in particular) and hope this madness eases up and manufacturing timelines go back to normal.
Silly me! I was indeed fearing it would be possible to buy a reduced Gift-Certificate with a reduced Gift-Certificate and so on! (Oh the possibilities! ) But of course MV has everything under control! Great job there guys with your new site!

Hey MV, this may be urgent!
I'm running a test now, 'cause there seems to be a glitch on the new website that would in fact equal the famous "division by zero".
Maybe it's a false alarm, but if not please lookout for a mail from xxxx within the next 5 minutes!
Had a quick browse few nights ago the new store looks an improvement good-luck with it, i haven't made an order yet i'm going too soon, put me down for a dozen, great sales LLL your too kind guys thanks.
Nice new website and discout But the postage to Switzerland, sorry, no deal
International postage is brutal. Last few times I've traded CDs with people overseas i spent at least $13 in postage,so i could've actually bought the discs myself anyway.
Lets just admit the obvious here, the shipping and handling charges at La La Land are ridiculously and necessarily high for all shipments. I work in the shipping business and believe me it does not cost what they charge to ship out CDs even if you include materials/handling. In all fairness, the same can be said of Screen Archives shipping charges too even at their "media rates".
By the way that is based on current USPS shipping rates.

I don't remember if there were options for cheaper shipping methods, but on my last order it was sent "two day" express. To my recollection I didn't chose that option, it was by default. So while the shipping cost were a little high, it was expedited shipping. So I got what I paid for.
