If you've seen the film and you play the track 'Carol Bathes Scottie', it's virtually impossible not to cry!! The track on its own is so sad and tender and beautiful, but when heard in context (**potential 40 years later spoiler**Carol is the mum and she's bathing her dying young son, as he succumbs to the radiation poisoning that will claim them all eventually), it goes beyond heart-breaking, taking you to new levels of sadness and despair. This is easily one of James Horner's GREATEST EVER SCORES!! The PURE EMOTION in his music is staggering!!
