So is the "Music Box Suite" track only on the USB, or is it on one of the CDs?
If not, then I guess it makes the signed CD 17, a little more collectible?

It's on disc 16.

The "Music Box Suite" that plays inside the lid of the music box (and on the ElfmanBurton.com website) is ONLY found on the bonus Disc 17 signed by Danny Elfman and at the end of the bonus materials on the USB drive. There are 4 other music box style suites on Disc 16 but they are a "Medley Suite," "Edward Scissorhands Suite," "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Suite," and "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Suite."

The "Music Box Suite" is comprised of one cue from each of the other 4 suites.

What is on the Medley suite? I had assumed it would be the music box suite.

That's excellent news. I absolutely adore the Music Box Suite on the signed Disc 17.
The sound quality on it is fantastic, glad to hear there is more like it on Disc 16.

At first, I thought it was the same too since they both clock in at 3 minutes and 2 seconds and both begin with the theme from Big Fish but the "Medley Suite" then goes on to play the themes from Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland and Batman.

??

Not sure what you mean. "The Music Box Suite" is on disc 16 (Notes & Notions - track 48) and the bonus disc 17 (track 1). It's the same suite running 3:02.

Is someone out there working on High Res Cover art Scans? And also anyone sequencing the tracks in film order?

I have them, but I am having problems posting them on here.
Links to photobucket came up instead of the covers? How do you post images here? Sorry I'm new.

If you use Photobucket to host your images, like I do, they actually have a little box for each image, with a few different codes in it. One of the codes is for the URL for the specific image. A tip to make a Photobucket URL work on this board, though: You have to change the to lower case, not block letters. And always remember to remove the http:// from the URL.

Looking forward to the covers.

The physical CD does not have 48 tracks. The bonus materials on the USB drive are appended to the end of Disc 16 when you load it in iTunes.

I would love to see a list of the all of the tracks in film order too. It would be impossible for me to do this as I have only seen a handful of these films and some of the ones that I have seen, I haven't seen in ages.

BTW, "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure," "Beetlejuice" and "Batman" sound fantastic so far!!!!

I read Pee Wee has dialogue and sound FX on some tracks...is this true?

It's only available in lossless on the exclusive bonus disc.

Yes. But it's very limited. I only noticed it on one or two tracks.

Yeah they do. but it really isn't that distracting and it is easy to overlook. I forget what tracks they were off the top of my head because I listened to it last night.

I wonder if they could only get the film recording of Pee-Wee from the film stems? Or was it a creative choice? Any info on this in the liners or book?

I think I remember reading that they tried to dig up as many usable cues from the original film recording of Pee Wee that they could and used the re-recording.

I also read that Elfman kept in some of the sounds like Paul Reubens humming because his music worked around it.

well my box made it in relatively good condition so i am thankful for that. it's a nice box but can see how you certainly wouldn't want to get rough with it. i agree that the cd cover inserts are pretty cheap though eflman's notes on each on are great. just got everything burned staying up way too late last night. haven't had much of a chance to explore but what i did is pretty cool. the music really does help to cover and of the box's failings. though i do have to ask on pee wee should that one track be called "magic shop and beyond" as opposed to "music shop and beyond"?
