Rather gutted that the end credits are not on the album....i sat through all of the... i don't know could have been 10 mins or more of the credits just listening to the music and it really was a great piece......this would have really rounded off the album perfectly......
Could the end credits just be an edit of previously existing cues?

Well, you know that as soon as they invent an 85 minute CD, you know Brian Tyler will be the first in line to release something on it.

Is that Can You Dig It track for real? If so, album bought. Great stuff and has a feel & vibe I like (mix of Giacchino's Incredibles and Murray Gold's Doctor Who)

im sure it is just an edit of music used in the film but i loved the way it was put together....great not having a crappy song tacked on to the end credits.....

lol Awesome. Downey Jr is just a lark, didn't realise that Guy Pearce was in this. Please to see that, he has come a _long_ way from Mike in Neighbours (Ozzy soap)

I think you nailed it. That's the feel I get too. What a great track.

Ha. Ha.
Waaayy off topic. But as an Aussie and a former "Neighbours" watcher...here he is
At first it seems like nothing more than generic action score, but soon enough it evolves and shows its range & depth. It has some Stark ego/show-boating, some clever espionage coolness, and some understated heroism that I hope will be ripe for plundering later. Quite sophisticated work, very nice to hear in an Iron Man score.
I suspect I`ll be able to stand by this after I see the film - good job Mr. Tyler!...
Yikes. Definitely excited for this score and can't wait to hear it, but just played that "Can You Dig It" cue above and...err, not my cup of tea. Cool to hear Tyler write that kind of tune and get a chance to spread his wings, but like Marco Beltrami's "McClane's Brain" from A Good Day to Die Hard it will probably be the cue from the score that I will skip when enjoying the score. Respect and appreciate it, but simultaneously will run and hide from it.
Glad everyone else likes it though, and can't wait to hear the rest of the score!

Can You dig It isn't representative of e rest of the score although it does use the IM3 theme to good effect. And that cue works fantastically in the end credit sequence which is a superbly well edited montage of clips from the 3 movies.

Go listen to the first track of the album, also called 'Iron Man 3'. It's more serious take on the same great theme. You'll probably like it a whole lot better.

Cool. And that's how "McClane's Brain" was for DH5, it wasn't representative of the rest of the score at all, at least "Can You Dig It" retains the theme and is used somewhere in the film. Am definitely optimistic of the score, and actually your description of how "Can You Dig It" is used in the film may give me more affection for the cue, but probably not as a stand-alone listening experience.
