Must be: Scared Stiff - Leith Stevens Another Jerry Lewis film? Well, that would make sense! But not Scared Stiff. You said it's not Scharf or Lilly, so "The Delicate Delinquent?" Well, there you are. Composed by Buddy Bregman, with whom I did a rather wonderful album back in 1998 called Swing. I knew nothing of the composing side of Buddy - he only did a handful of scores back then, but I was bowled over by Delicate Delinquent's music - filled with great themes and an opening that's literally ear-opening in that it prefigures the sound of L. Bernstein's West Side Story, which opened a year later. For me, this score was like discovering a real jewel and I hope people will like it as much as I do.

I guessed both golden age scores! I never saw either film, but I'll buy it for sure. I trust your golden age judgment Bruce. Which cd will be next week?

I've heard the Bregman score, and it's good stuff. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ2QQhst84k A re-recording of a cue from antoher film he did, "The Wild Party" (1956), indicates taht might be another score worth looking into.

Hmmm... I'm having issues with disc 1 of Alien Nation. I can't import track 4 or 5 - and after inspecting the disc I noticed a raised dent right on the bottom which probably explains it. Do you issue replacement discs? If you bought from us, sure. I did order direct from your site. Through paypal. Then drop us an e-mail.

Happy to say it will be Heaven Can Wait... With Joe Pendleton's solo noodling on soprano sax as bonus tracks?
