Watching Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs on Blu-Ray this morning gave me a hankering for some Harline (and the "House Of Bamboo" song sounds like it could have come from a Disney film).

Frustrating Goldsmith score in that it almost explodes into his trademark, 70's action ostinatos, yet keeps pulling back into low-key suspense tracks (although it's cool to hear that Basic Instinct piano motif played by harpsichord). Still, Goldsmith's Latin-flavored scores always have a lot to recommend them.

I guess this goes for fairly high prices these days, so I'm glad I nabbed it about ten years ago, on a whim.

Almost kinda but not really at all related to Veteran's Day.
