GODZILLA---new poster and size chart released for the reboot movie.
GOTHAM---a leaked copy of Episode 1's script has Gotham City Police Detectives James Gordon and Harvey Bullock investigating the murder of young Bruce Wayne's parents. Also in the episode are the young versions of Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler (who is a police coroner) and a young girl "who lives with dysfunctional parents and has a number of houseplants." A source who reviewed the script said, it was "filled with way too much exposition and explanation of who these characters are in the Batman universe."
JAMES BOND---Ralph Fiennes updated the status of the 24th Bond movie, "It's meant to start shooting in October. I haven't read a script yet, so I can't tell you much. They'd probably swear me to secrecy anyway."
HOWARD HUGHES---Warren Beatty is the star/director/co-producer of this untitled movie about the love affair between the reclusive billionaire's assistant (Alden Ehrenreich) and a young woman (Lily Collins). Candice Bergen will play Hughes' secretary. Annette Bening and Matthew Broderick are reportedly also co-starring with Jack Nicholson being a possibility to co-star.
ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES---director Adam McKay said the sequel will be the last, "It’s done. I think that’s it. It was great to do it and it was so fun to work with those guys again, but I think that’s it for Ron Burgundy. No, that's the last sequel we’re gonna do. There's nothing more fun to me than new characters and a new world. And now we're releasing this alt version, we're totally satisfied. No Anchorman 3."
ANT-MAN---Patrick Wilson (INSIDIOUS) has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
COLD COMFORT---20th Century Fox movie underway based on the upcoming book HOW TO CATCH A RUSSIAN SPY which is described as, "the true account of an American civilian turned self-taught spy, who worked with the FBI to bring down a Russian intelligence agent on American soil (and who will reveal his identity at publication), co-written by Newsday columnist and NYT bestselling author Ellis Henican."
CHARLES MANSON---Fox miniseries underway about Charles Manson and his cult who killed seven people including actress Sharon Tate in 1969. Rob Zombie is the director, and Brett Easton Ellis is the writer. Fox has not approved the miniseries yet.
OLD SOUL---NBC sitcom pilot about an ex-party girl who now takes care of the elderly. Natasha Lyonne, Ellen Burstyn, Fred Willard and Rita Moreno star.
DARK HOUSE---horror movie underway about a man who returns to his possessed ancestral home which contains the secrets of his family's dark past and now reaches to his unborn son. Tobin Bell, Luke Kleintank and Lesley-Anne Down star.

I think Godzilla is bigging himself up a bit here. The destroyer of a few city blocks & large buildings, & killer of a lot of extras & a few minor characters before being splattered by a bomb or something.
